Rebuilding after the Adventist Church is not about replacing what you lost. It's about discovering what you want.

What Are You Actually Feeling?

What you're experiencing is real, and it's more common than anyone around you is likely to acknowledge. The constant low-grade anxiety of wondering whether you had confessed enough, obeyed enough, or believed enough can be replaced with a peace the church never delivered. Naming this is not the end of the process, but it is the beginning.

Let the joy be there. You don't have to earn it or justify it. It's part of this process too.

The church family organized your social life, your moral framework, your sense of where you stand in the universe, and often your closest relationships.
